Asia Brazil Carnival

In 2013, HKSF expands to include the 2nd Asia Brazil Carnival (ABC). Bringing the spirit of Rio Carnival to the Festival, participants will have a bigger variety of dance styles to watch and to try. Who can take their eyes off a bunch of Samba girls parading down the street? Who can ignore the mixture of vibrant colours that are the essence of their outfits? And who can resist the energy of Brazilian music?

As part of the HKSF 2013extravaganza, the ABC will happen from February 21st-24th at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (N100 Series Rooms, 1 Expo Drive, Wanchai), just after the Chinese New Year. There will be workshops taught by international artists on various Brazilian dance styles – Zouk, Samba de Gafieira, Kizomba…… Party till late every night in our special BRAZILIAN ROOM at the HKCEC! With the next World Cup and Olympics both being held in Brazil, the fascinating nature of Brazilian culture will be ever more at the forefront of many promotions and exhibitions in the lead up to the two greatest shows on earth. This is yet another fantastic reason to be part of the greatest Afro-Latin Party ever to be take place in Hong Kong.
